The Sinner
Crime Drama The Sinner follows a perfect mother who stabs a stranger to death on the beach in front of other beachgoers. Dark Tourist
Disney World isn't quite the speed of professional tourist and journalist David Farrier. Instead, his travels take him to dark and dangerous places. The new Netflix original has eight released episodes that will take viewers into the life of Charles Manson's pen pal and seat them at a dinner table with vampires.
The Staircase
This true crime documentary follows author Michael Peterson and his life after being accused of killing his wife. He alleges she fell down the staircase in the couple's home and he later found her brutally bloodied at the bottom. Prosecutors weren't on the same page. The docuseries, which was filmed through 2017, shows the trial and legal process from start to finish along with compelling forensics.
